The crossover vehicle has presented many automakers an opportunity to explore different dimension of design. While some crossover designs seek optimal practicality, others re-imagine luxury in the larger interior confides. In the most radical form, the styling theme of crossover vehicles has consisted of threading sportiness into designs. The height of the concept vehicle is lower than that of the Audi Q5 and just 6 centimeters taller than the A4 Allroad. Utilizing the Audi Space Frame consisting of aluminum and steel construction, the Audi TT Offroad Concept is provided with an almost sedan-like appearance. The Audi TT Offroad Concept functions as a plug-in hybrid embodying e-tron technology configured around gasoline engine and two electric motors. Gasoline power is sourced from a 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder powerplant generating 288 horsepower and 280.3 pound-feet of torque. One method exhibited for charging lithium-ion battery pack of the TT Offroad Concept is Audi Wireless Charging technology. Using inductive charging system said to be 90 percent efficient, the vehicle charges overtop of a plate while parked. Through Audi Wireless Charging, no contact is made between the charger and the Audi TT Offroad Concept during the replenishing of the battery.
Designed for four adult passengers, the Audi TT Offroad Concept’s interior is inspired by mood created inside the A7 Sportback and the recently introduced new TT coupe. Front and rear seats are contoured for a gripping hold for when the TT Offroad Concept is being put through its paces. Air vents are shaped to resemble jet engines and sport integrated climate controls. Similar to the experience inside the 2015 Audi TT, a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit is placed within the instrument panel providing the driver of a biased level of control. Basic readouts for speed as well as more sophisticated information like navigation, traffic and information on the Audi Wireless Charging technology is relayed to the driver through the Virtual Cockpit.
On the Audi TT Offroad Concept, passengers are treated to a series of interactive media solutions through Audi Smart Displays. Special tablets computers found inside the TT Offroad Concept but capable of operating outside the vehicle, the Audi Smart Displays allow DVD, television streaming as well as radio control. The Audi Smart Displays can also interact with the navigation system mapping and is Internet-ready with an LTE high-speed connection using a Google Chrome browser.

Though the Audi A3 Sportback serves comfortably as a premium, athletic urban vehicle since 2006, the United States luxury car marketplace changed a lot over this time. Compact luxury cars, once existed as a niche segment, is now a major part a premium brand’s line-up. Inside a leather-upholstered interior, the Audi A3 sedan oozes with high quality charm. Power for the 2015 Audi A3 sedan will comprises of gasoline and diesel powerplants. A 170-horsepower 1.8 TFSI, two version of a 2.0 TSFI and a 2.0 TDI Clean Diesel engine will be available on new compact sedan. A six-speed S Tronic gearbox will be standard with all 2015 A3 sedan powerplant options. Front-wheel drive or Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive can be used to deliver engine power to the ground.
Beyond the performance of the Audi A3 sedan, the S3 sedan explores top echelons in compact motoring. The 2015 Audi S5 sedan combines quattro all-wheel drive with a high output version of the 2.0 TFSI engine. Though horsepower figures for the North American version of the 2015 Audi S3 sedan is unconfirmed, the European models defines performance output at 300 horsepower. The 2015 Audi S3 sedan will also include additional enhancements such as a lowered suspension, 18-inch wheels and Audi drive select vehicle dynamics system.
The 2015 A3 sedan is also making big news for alternative powertrains in Audi products. The e-tron name will be worn on a plug-in hybrid version of the 2015 Audi A3 sedan. A 1.8 liter TFSI engine is joined to a 75-kilowatt electric motor on the Audi A3 sedan e-tron. This will mark the very first time the e-tron badge will be worn on an Audi production car.

In preparation for the 2011 Frankfurt Motor show, Audi has a history of bringing profound guidance for where they want to take their brand’s image. In the last Frankfurt show in 2009, Audi presented their e-tron concept for the very first time to the public. Since the showing almost two years ago, Audi’s continuing development of e-tron is likely to directly lead to a production-based vehicle. Audi also publicly premiered the R8 Spyder at the 2009 show generating some more tradition open-motoring performance buzz. As their world sales increased by 15 percent in 2010 (just one year following the Audi’s last Frankfurt display), the German auto company’s success will garner more focus on their upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show plans. Supplying samples for performance and low-impact driving, Audi seems ready to entertain the German city’s crowd.
Presented in early to mid August, Audi’s prospect for exploiting a full city car design led to the urban concept brainchild. The urban concept car was unveiled ahead of the Frankfurt show in illustrated form ahead of the lightweight 1+1 passenger vehicle’s presentation in real life. Since the debut of the Audi urban concept sketches on August 10th, Audi immediately followed-up the early images with an open top version of the unique smaller car. The Spyder version of the urban concept shares the impressive sport style in a small, electric vehicle package.
Aside from the debut of a radical new way of motoring, Audi will use Frankfurt as the official public introduction of three new models of their S performance line. Added to the 2012 Audi portfolio, the S6 (including the S6 Avant) and the large S8 sedan will debut as new generation vehicles. For the first time since its introduction last year, the Audi A7 Sportback receives its initial taste of S line enthusiasm. Receiving its first eight-cylinder powerplant, the S7 Sportback, along with the S6 and S8, will receive a new generation engine engineered to provide top performance along with improved fuel economy.
Taking a similar approach as with Mercedes-Benz and BMW by consolidating engines used in their performance line-ups, a new 4.0 liter V-8 engine will beat under the hood of all three S models. Smaller than the S line’s previous benchmark, the more compact Audi engine is just as exciting as the next generation models. Providing up to 520 horsepower of sheer driving excitement, the S6, S7 Sportback and the S8 will be guided by Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system.
As a third separate feature ready to attract spectators at the Audi pavilion, the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show will debut a concept version of the A2. The Audi A2 concept displays a compact car form optimizing cargo space thanks to an electric powertrain.
