Heffner Performance is known in the high-end tuning world for creating ultra-powerful versions of cars like the Dodge Viper, various Lamborghinis, and the Ford GT. Now they got their hands on an Audi R8 and added their own twin turbo system.
The stock R8, according to their dyno tests, produced 353 rwhp. After Heffner added the TT system with only 6 psi of boost, the car output was increased to 536 rwhp – a gain of over 50%.
Not content with this of course, Heffner is working on a 100 octane system that will likely reach 600 rwhp, and a twin turbo system for the R8 V10 as well. I’m looking forward to hearing more about this in the near future.
